Wendlingen/Landau, September 03.09.2019rd, 5 – From September 7th to 244th, the industry will meet at the RecyclingAktiv trade fair in Karlsruhe. Kurz Karkassenhandel will be present at the demo fair as a pioneer in the disposal of used tires. Kurz will be presenting services and new products at stand FXNUMX. Particular attention is paid to the recycling process of rubber powder production.
Since March 2016, Kurz has had Europe's first rubber fine grinding plant for truck peeling snakes, which are created when the treads of truck tires are peeled lengthwise. The machine is a real workhorse: With 144 rotor blades and seven stator blades, it shreds the peeling snakes into coarse granules within a few minutes and, in further work steps, into fine rubber powder of 0,4 millimeters.
The rubber powder is used in a wide variety of areas. An economically and ecologically sensible area is rubber-modified asphalt. Kurz is setting a new standard because, in cooperation with its partners, we have succeeded in bringing together new processes in the production of fine flour, in the composition of additives, in the mixing ratio and in the processing technology, making the paving of rubber asphalt easier than ever.
The peeling snakes and the rubber powder in various grain sizes will be presented by Kurz as illustrative material at RecyclingAktiv.
