However, we should not forget that many people are not doing so well. KURZ Karkassenhandel, a pioneer in the waste tire disposal business, shows with two fundraisers at each of its two locations that it cares about the common good. Four organizations received a donation of 1 euros from KURZ Karkassenhandel. Karl Kurz and Hanna Schöberl have carefully selected the organizations and attach great importance to the fact that the donations are used in local organizations and really arrive there 1:XNUMX.
Help for the seriously ill
At the company headquarters in Wendlingen, Swabia, KURZ supports the organizations Fontanherzen e. V. and the support group for children with cancer e. V
Fontanherzen is a nationwide association dedicated to people who were born with half a heart. Complicated heart surgeries are necessary to keep newborns alive who suffer from this most serious congenital heart defect. Until a few years ago, the chances of survival were slim. Thanks to advanced research and treatment methods, this has changed for the better! However, life expectancy and quality of life continue to depend on research!
The support group for children with cancer has set itself the task of supporting families in Stuttgart during and after the strenuous cancer therapy. This includes, among other things, the free provision of Internet, TV and telephone at the bedside, playroom equipment, parents' library, the financing of a kindergarten teacher and a psychologist. In addition, parents can stay in the Blue House, very close to the children's hospital. The association is financed exclusively by donations.
Experience life and nature intensely
In Landau, Palatinate, KURZ helps the Sterntaler children's hospice from Mannheim and the nature conservation association.
The Sterntaler children's hospice is dedicated to children who are so seriously ill that they will not reach adulthood. The association offers children, adolescents, young adults and their families accommodation as well as medical and psychological care throughout the course of the disease. The aim is to ensure that the remaining days and hours can be experienced as intensively as possible by those affected.
The nature conservation association wants to inspire people to work together for the benefit of nature. Future generations should also be able to enjoy intact nature, lively flora and fauna and a maximum of finite resources. He is committed to this in a variety of ways: with practical measures such as landscape maintenance, with excursions, but also with specialist lectures.
