The new building is intended to ensure more efficient work processes and better customer service and to prepare the company for the challenges ahead. It also offers more comfort and space for the employees - and houses a literally "wild" executive room.
In the last few months things have also been wild in the old business premises of Kurz Karkassenhandel in Wendlingen. Space was becoming scarce, capacities were almost exhausted. After the move to the new, lightweight offices, there is a great sigh of relief. The new premises are larger, more comfortable and technically more up-to-date, a well thought-out room layout shortens the distances and helps to make work processes more efficient. The well-being of the employees is not neglected either: the new offices are brighter and friendlier, offer more space to unfold and a kitchen in which the breaks can be spent together.
The wild executive room
The heart of the new building is the spacious executive office, with which managing director Karl Kurz, a real pioneer in the used tire business and with his heart in the matter since 1955, has made a small dream come true. On the walls, deer, roe deer and bucks watch over the prosperity of business, trophies of a great passion for hunting. A place has finally been found to present the beautiful pieces in an appropriate setting. There is also a large meeting table here, where you can passionately discuss and plan with employees, customers, service providers and new business partners. "We are happy to be able to go full throttle in the new premises," says Managing Director Hanna Schöberl, describing the general spirit of optimism. "After just a few weeks, you can already tell that a fresh wind is blowing through the workforce. With the new office building, we ensure that we can continue to meet increasing market demands. It is an investment in the future.”
focus on energy efficiency
This is also reflected in the design of the premises: special attention was paid to intelligently connecting the rooms and, of course, to the energy efficiency of electricity, telephone and network lines. Existing organization systems were also reconsidered and optimized. Where filing cabinets used to be bursting at the seams, there is finally space again. "Kurz Karkassenhandel has held its own on the market for 60 years because we always do everything we can to keep up with progress," explains Managing Director Hanna Schöberl. "And we want to remain true to this strategy in the future." The new offices are an important step in this direction.
