Wendlingen/Landau, 19.09.2019/XNUMX/XNUMX – “After the trade fair is before the trade fair” is the motto with which the start of the NUFAM, which will take place shortly, will be given. From September 26th to 29th, 2019, trade visitors can be inspired by the number one commercial vehicle trade fair in the German market in Karlsruhe. Kurz is also represented in the DM Arena at stand B104.
The industry also met at the RecyclingAktiv trade fair in Karlsruhe from September 5th to 7th. The scrap tire disposal pioneer Kurz can look back on a successful trade fair with many new and interesting contacts and is already in the starting blocks for the next trade fair. At stand F244 in Karlsruhe, Kurz presented its own services and new products on the subject of old tire recycling. Particular attention was paid to the recycling process of rubber powder production.
Because Europe's first and so far only Rubber fine grinding plant for truck peeling coils has been in operation in Landau since 2016. This term refers to the black rubber stripes that appear when you peel off truck tires lengthwise. The machine on the Kurz company premises is a real workhorse: With 144 rotor blades and seven stator blades, it shreds the peeling snakes into coarse granules within a few minutes and then further into fine granules of less than 0,4 mm.
The gum powder can be used in various areas and for a variety of tasks. Rubber-modified asphalt is an area that makes economic and ecological sense and should therefore be explicitly emphasized.
Kurz is setting a new standard because, in cooperation with its partners, it has succeeded in bringing together new processes in the production of fine flour, in the composition of additives, in the mixing ratio and in the processing technology, making the paving of rubber asphalt easier than ever. Kurz presented the rubber powder in various grain sizes as illustrative material at this year's RecyclingAktiv.
