600.000 old tires are produced every year in Germany alone - and if we put them all together, they would reach around the globe. There are 3,4 million old tires in Europe. Tires are tough, weather resistant, and that's why they don't rot. It is extremely important that we recycle the tires in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner. Together with ZARE, we ensure that the tires, if they are still good, are continued to be used or retreaded. Tires that are no longer used in this way can be recycled.
