Innovative rubber pulverising plant in Landau

Since March 2016, we have been operating the Landau site's only rubber pulverising plant for peeling snakes in Europe. Our ultra-modern plant is equipped with 144 rotor knives and seven stator knives, which crush your delivered granulate or rubber into the desired particle size in just a few minutes. We can produce fine flour with a particle size of less than than 0.4mm. Should you require a Desire specific grain sizethat goes beyond our standard formats, please do not hesitate to contact us. Special enquiry to provide. After consultation, we will procure the appropriate screen to manufacture your rubber product exactly to your specifications.

Shredding used tyres and rubber waste

Our shredding processes are designed to maximise efficiency. Shredding initially breaks down used tyres and rubber waste into smaller, manageable pieces. This is a crucial first step that enables us to optimally process the materials further and thus create the basis for subsequent granulation and pulverisation.

Granulation and pulverisation for precise end products

Shredding is followed by granulation, in which the rubber pieces are further processed into fine granulate. For applications that require even finer materials, we also offer pulverisation. This process enables us to produce extremely fine rubber qualities that are suitable for various industries.

Professional contract grinding of rubber: processes, applications and advantages

Contract grinding of rubber: Efficient solutions for recycling and reuse

The Contract grinding of rubber plays a crucial role in modern recycling and the sustainable utilisation of resources. Specialised grinding processes are used to process used rubber materials, such as old tyres, into fine rubber powder or rubber flour, which can be reused in a wide range of applications.

Rubber grinding process

There are various methods for grinding rubber, which are selected depending on the desired end product and specific requirements:

  1. Ambient grinding (room temperature grinding):

    • Process: The rubber material is mechanically shredded at room temperature.
    • Advantages: Established process with comparatively low energy consumption.
    • Disadvantages: The resulting rubber powder often has an irregular particle structure.
  2. Cryogenic grinding (ultra-low temperature grinding):

    • Process: The rubber is cooled to very low temperatures using liquid nitrogen and then shredded.
    • Advantages: Produces finer rubber powder with a smoother surface and homogeneous particle size.
    • Disadvantages: Higher energy consumption and costs due to the use of liquid nitrogen.

Areas of application for rubber powder and rubber powder

The rubber flour obtained by toll grinding is used in numerous industries:

  • Asphalt modification: Adding rubber powder to asphalt improves the elasticity and durability of road surfaces.
  • Rubber products: Production of new rubber goods such as seals, mats and shoe soles using recycled rubber powder.
  • plastics industry: Used as a filler in plastic mixtures to improve material properties.
  • Sports and leisure areas: Used in shock-absorbing surfaces for playgrounds and sports facilities.

Advantages of contract grinding of rubber

Utilising payroll services offers several advantages:

  • Conservation of resources: Recycling rubber conserves natural resources and reduces waste.
  • Cost efficiency: Companies can benefit from high-quality rubber powder without having to invest in their own grinding technology.
  • Flexibility: Adaptation of the grinding parameters to specific customer requirements enables the production of customised products.
