In our Fine grinding plant - one of the most modern in the whole of Europe - and a technically sophisticated process, we produce what are known as peel strips from truck tyres. Rubber peel strips are approx. 5 cm wide black rubber strips that are produced when the tread of truck tyres is cut from the carcass in order to prepare the tyre carcass for retreading. We produce rubber granulate from this pure rubber in several stages, Rubber powder and gum powder.
The powder is ideally suited for use in a wide variety of applications. Rubber and elastomer products. For example, it is used for coating roofing felt as an additive to bitumen for asphalt. The addition of rubber powder makes it more durable, prevents the formation of ruts and reduces noise.
