New year - new business premises
Wendlingen, 20.02.2018 In mid-January, the staff at the Wendlingen branch moved into the new business premises. The new building is intended to ensure more efficient work processes and better customer service and prepare the company for the challenges ahead. It also offers more comfort and space for employees - and houses a literally "wild" executive office.
Things have also been wild in the old Kurz Karkassenhandel business premises in Wendlingen in recent months. Space was running out and capacities were almost exhausted. Now that the company has moved into its new, lightweight offices, it can breathe a sigh of relief. The new premises are larger, more comfortable and technically more up-to-date, a well thought-out room layout shortens distances and helps to organise work processes efficiently. The well-being of the employees is not neglected either: the new offices are brighter and friendlier, offer more space to develop and a kitchen where breaks can be spent together.
The wild executive room
The centrepiece of the new building, however, is the spacious executive room, with which Managing Director Karl Kurz, a true pioneer in the old tyre business and who has put his heart and soul into the business since 1955, has fulfilled a small dream. On the walls, stags, roe deer and bucks watch over the well-being of the business, trophies of a great passion for hunting. Finally, a place has been found to present the beautiful pieces in an appropriate setting. There is also a large meeting table here, where employees, customers, service providers and new business partners can passionately discuss and plan. "We are delighted to be able to hit the ground running in the new premises," says Managing Director Hanna Schöberl, describing the general mood of optimism. "After just a few weeks, you can already tell that a fresh breeze is blowing through the workforce. With the new office building, we are ensuring that we can continue to meet the increasing market requirements. It is an investment in the future."
