Landau/Wendlingen, 10.03.2017 Karl Kurz is a true pioneer. When he founded his company in 1955, he laid the foundations for Europe's oldest trading company for casings and used tyres. Even today, he is still a driving force in the industry with innovative ideas. Just last year, Kurz Karkassenhandel in Landau commissioned Europe's only fine rubber grinding plant for peel tyres to date.
With its long history, Kurz Karkassenhandel is one of the most renowned used rubber processors in Germany. Many years of experience, the high level of expertise of over 30 employees at the Wendlingen/Neckar and Landau/Pfalz sites and modern equipment make Kurz Karkassenhandel an expert. All used rubber can be recycled in an environmentally friendly way: Car, light truck, truck tyres, AS, EM and solid rubber tyres. Used rubber from industry and trade is also disposed of professionally and economically at both sites.
Keine Chance für Gummireifen: Zwei Tonnen Rubber powder pro Stunde
The fine grinding plant, which was inaugurated in 2016, grinds around two tonnes of feed material per hour into the finest rubber powder of up to 0.4 mm. It is completely free of metallic and textile contamination and is packaged according to customer-specific requirements. The fine rubber powder will primarily be used in the production of new tyres and conveyor belts, in construction chemicals and for bitumen applications. However, the plant can do even more and also shreds industrial waste and other secondary materials, making it ideal for additional recycling applications.

In addition to the disposal of used tyres, Kurz Karkassenhandel is also very active in the purchase and sale of used tyres, quality testing and import and export. The trading connections include numerous well-known partners and extend from Europe via North, South and Central America to Asia and Africa.
