The Tire Cologne took place at the same time as the Environment Week. We were there with Daniel Kwint, who represented our ZARE network at the joint AZuR stand. In addition to numerous discussions with interested visitors on the subject of used tyre disposal, we placed a special focus on the importance of sorting. For this purpose, a container was placed right next to the AZuR stand, where we offered visitors a live sorting session: What else can you actually do with seal tyres? Which tyres can be recycled particularly well, and which ones pose difficulties? And can motorbike tyres be recycled?
Daniel Kwint, together with our colleague Danny Schwalbe from MRH, gave a vivid insight into the art of sorting used tyres, arousing the interest of numerous spectators.
