The world is changing and KURZ is keeping pace - employee training at KURZ in Landau.
Digitalisation, sustainability, circular economy, e-mobility, waste regulation, efficiency, shortage of skilled workers - There was no shortage of topics on the training day at KURZ. All employees from the Landau and Wendlingen sites set out to follow the developments on the market, understand the technical changes and absorb new impulses. The topics were organised according to importance. After the speakers' presentations, some of them were discussed in more depth in small working groups so that the employees could also get rid of their questions.
Climate change makes it clear - our task of disposing of tyres and rubber waste sustainably is becoming increasingly important. The guidelines of the Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management Act and the Waste Catalogue Ordinance are constantly being adapted and it is therefore extremely important that those who deal with them on a daily basis know the details.
How can we at KURZ improve sustainability in the company - this was also a focus of the training day.
Learning together is not only strenuous, it is also fun. The merger of the two locations was an advantage; it quickly became apparent that internal knowledge in particular spreads quickly. Of course, working together in person also supports team building.
In addition to the purely technical part, there was of course also delicious food and drink and good conversations on the sidelines, which are sometimes more important than the official part.
In the end, everyone agreed that we should do this more often.
