Eine fachgerechte Entsorgung von Altreifen ist entscheidend, um Umweltbelastungen zu vermeiden und wertvolle Rohstoffe zurückzugewinnen. Deshalb prüfen wir jede Reifenart sorgfältig und führen sie der optimalen Verwertungsmethode zu. Ein wichtiger Bestandteil ist das Tyre recycling: Dabei werden Altreifen in ihre einzelnen Bestandteile zerlegt, sodass Gummi, Stahl und Textilfasern erneut in der Produktion eingesetzt und für die Herstellung  von Produkten genutzt werden können.

We would like to point out that we charge travel costs for registered and uncancelled orders.

We therefore ask you to let us know as soon as possible in the event of illness, staff shortages, etc.

Please note that loading must be carried out by the client. Our employee is only a loading aid! If the loading has to be carried out by us, we charge € 75.00 per hour or part thereof. We also charge € 75.00 for a waiting time or standing time of our driver of more than one hour.

We reserve the right to charge a lump sum for extraordinarily long loading times.

Are old tyres recyclable?

Ja – auch Altreifen können recycelt werden. Das Reifenrecycling gewinnt zunehmend an Bedeutung, da es eine Möglichkeit ist, wertvolle Rohstoffe zurückzugewinnen und Ressourcen zu schonen.

Tyres are made from a mixture of natural and synthetic rubber, as well as other components such as steel and textile fibres. Vulcanisation makes old tyres particularly stable and elastic – however, this process cannot be reversed. Therefore, tyres cannot simply be melted down.

The most common method for recycling old tyres is granulation. In this process, the tyres are shredded and processed into tyre granulate or rubber powder. These recycled products retain the excellent properties of the original material and find a variety of uses – for example, in sports and playground surfaces, seals, sound insulation, or rubber-modified asphalt.

The professional disposal of old tyres is therefore crucial for environmental protection and the circular economy.

How to dispose of old tyres?

Old tyres must not be put in the general waste but must be disposed of properly by a certified disposal company. If you wish to dispose of old tyres from workshops, fleets or the commercial sector, you can deliver the tyres directly to us by arrangement – or we can collect the old tyres from your premises using our transport service.
