During the shredding, the tyres are split into about palm sized pieces that, in the next work step, are ground to small granulates in a granulate unit. Separation or cleaning of the rubber parts from all metals is then carried out immediately afterwards. Depending on requirements, the rubber is further processed to granulate or rubber power that will then, in the future, be processed in road construction, rubber mats, profile rubber, etc. You can even find some tyres in mouse pads or door seals. Conclusion: KURZ Karkassenhandel disposes their old tyres as environmentally friendly and ecconomical as possible.
